Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention


WRCACWestern Regional Children’s Advocacy Center (WRCAC) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that provides trainings to support Children’s Advocacy Centers CACs) throughout the western US with close associations with the National Children's Aliance (NCA).

 

NCANational Children's Alliance is a nationwide not-for-profit membership organization whose mission is to promote and support communities in providing a coordinated investigation and comprehensive response to victims of severe child abuse. NCA accredited members are Children's Advocacy Centers.

 

We are a program of Safe Passage CAC and have been since 2001. Major funding is provided through a grant from the Office of Justice Programs, Office of Juvenile Justice Delinquency and Prevention (OJJDP).

 

WRCAC has three primary objectives:
•  Development of multi-disciplinary teams and CACs
•  Coordination of training and technical assistance
•  Promote public awareness and education
  

Major areas of training include:
•  Leadership and Management
•  Training for Multidisciplinary Teams
•  Other trainings such as seminars, think tanks, and technical assistance.
