2012 BOOTCAMP will feature the current standards
This training is specifically designed for CAC directors or others with direct responsibility for developing an application for NCA Accreditation or Re-accreditation. The training is designed to provide an overview of the accreditation standards and accreditation process, provide participants with a framework for developing their application, and what to expect during a site visit.
Topics to be covered include: history of the accreditation process; NCA accreditation procedures; overview of NCA Standards for Accredited Members; putting standards into practice; common challenges centers face in meeting standards; what to do when current practice may not meet the standard; engaging your team in the process and creating a “plan of attack”; preparing your application; and what to expect from a site visit.
Target Audience
CAC directors or coordinators or other individuals with direct responsibility for developing the accreditation or re-accreditation application.
Eligibility Requirements
Participants should be from agencies that are six to eighteen months away from applying for accreditation or re-accreditation.

Estimated cost: $49.00 application fee. RCAC’s may cover costs of transportation and lodging for one participant from each eligible CAC. Please contact your RCAC to determine availability.
