This training is for Children’s Advocacy Center staff/multidisciplinary team members wishing to enhance their skills as facilitators of team meetings.
The training is designed to help inform individuals who assist teams with creating a safe environment that promotes involvement of all team members; identifying system issues that impact cases; helping team members make collaborative decisions and helping the team to address and resolve conflicts. Some of the topics covered include learning styles, giving and receiving feedback, assessing your team, leading discussions, teambuilding, understanding and managing conflict.
Target Audience
Individuals who are responsible for the facilitation of multidisciplinary team meetings.

Participants who currently serve as the facilitator of multidisciplinary team meetings
Length
Two and a half day session
Application Fee
$49.00 per person. Participants are responsible for their own transportation and meal expenses. Lodging is available at group rates at the hotel where the meeting will be held. All participants will have an individual sleeping room reserved. The training ends in the early afternoon on Thursday to facilitate travel home.
