Facilitated Peer Support

Description

WRCAC hosts virtual quarterly Peer Consultation Sessions for Chapter Directors and staff. These sessions offer space to discuss challenges, practice peer coaching, and share resources that strengthen problem‑solving across the Western Region.

Each session starts in a large-group format with a topic related to leading and supporting CAC networks at the state Chapter level. Articles and other resources may be sent in advance to review as part of this discussion. Following this, one to two pre-selected volunteer participants will present a challenge or opportunity they are currently facing to the group. Other group members will ask powerful questions to help the presenter(s) uncover insights and strategies that support their next steps on the matter. At the end, discussion is opened for all participants to ask questions and seek advice from the group on other challenges or opportunities they want peer support on.
