MDT Facilitators | Scheduled Training and Peer Support

MDT Facilitator Rural Roundtables
WRCAC is pleased to host virtual MDT Facilitator Rural Roundtables. These roundtables serve as a dynamic platform for learning and sharing, allowing MDT facilitators to convene, explore various topics related to MDT facilitation and teams, and exchange valuable experiences and insights with their peers. Our aim is to foster the development of a supportive network among peers who share similar challenges in rural communities, providing assistance as you navigate the intricate role of an MDT facilitator.
Multidisciplinary Teams | Scheduled Training and Peer Support

Building Resilient Teams
Building Resilient Teams is an online guided discussion group to build resiliency within the multidisciplinary team (MDT). Participants, with guidance from a facilitator, will review the implications of secondary traumatic stress responses within the MDT and identify key domains for building resiliency. Team partners will identify strategies to grow capacity in each domain and consider how to implement those strategies within their MDT to encourage resiliency. These discussion groups are open to two-person teams from MDTs, with at least one individual from each team having a leadership or facilitator role within the MDT to help encourage the successful implementation of new strategies.
