Federal Communications Commision: Connecting Americans to Health This initiative through the FCC is attempting to connect rural health care facilities through telehealth services. They are funded by the Universal Service Fund, which includes the following programs: Rural Health Care Program, Connected Care Pilot Program, Connect2Health Task Force, and Wireless Medical Telemetry.

CDC’s Rural Health Policy Brief  This branch of the CDC is aimed at reviewing policies for rural health care and providing recommendations on improving health benefits for those working and living in rural communities.

Center for Connected Health Policy  This website developed by the National Telehealth Policy Resource Center is designed to improve telehealths ability to create better health outcomes, care delivery and cost effectiveness by keeping up to date with telehealth-related laws and regulations. 

Telemental Health Special Interest Group-ATA This group developed by the ATA is made up of administrators, clinicians, and information technology professionals aimed at enhancing and supporting the use of technology in mental health services.

Telebehavioral Health Training and Technical Assistance  This webpage developed by the SAMHSA-HRSA Center for Integrated Health Solutions is designed to help providers and rural health clinics understand the intricacies of developing and adopting telebehavioral health services. There are 6 sessions that include tools and resources, as well as Q&A sections with TBH experts. 

Telebehavioral Health Center of Excellence (TBHCE) This program sponsored by the Indian Health Services and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, provides training, clinical services, education and telehealth support for those practicing telehealth services in remote health care locations for isolated American Indian/Alaska Native communities. 

American Academy of Pediatrics: Telehealth Support This evolving resource provides general resources and technical support for pediatricians who are looking to incorporate telehealth services into their practice. 

Division of Digital Psychiatry @ BIDMC  This program supported by NAMI was designed to be a leader in education, research and innovation in digital mental health. 

International Society For Mental Health Online This website provides resources for mental health professionals looking to better understand and use online communication and technology worldwide. 

HealthIT.Gov: Telemedicine and Telehealth This government funded webpage provides resources for the fields of telemedicine and telehealth.

CMCS Informational Bulletin on Rural Health Care and Medicaid Telehealth Flexibilities (April 2, 2020) – This Center for Medicaid & CHIP Services Informational Bulletin (CIB) identifies opportunities for the utilization of telehealth delivery methods to increase access to Medicaid services and to comply with the requirement to publish guidance to states regarding federal reimbursement for furnishing services and treatment for substance use disorders under Medicaid using services delivered via telehealth, including in School-Based Health Centers. This requirement is set forth in section 1009(b) of the Substance Use-Disorder Prevention that Promotes Opioid Recovery and Treatment for Patients and Communities Act (SUPPORT Act) (Pub. L. 115-271).
